Are you newly diagnosed with diabetes and looking for information to get you started, or need a refresher on diabetes management? Join our virtual diabetes education program to learn the basics of diabetes management and connect with others affected by diabetes from the comfort of your home.

Diabetes Canada's virtual diabetes education program provides the option to learn practical, up-to-date tips and tricks at your own pace.

Have your questions answered in monthly, live, online sessions facilitated by registered health professionals with expertise in diabetes management.

Your registration comes with:

• All 11 live sessions for 2026

• Access to our on-demand video library covering the basics on different diabetes management topics such as dealing with a new diagnosis, food and nutrition, physical activity, blood sugar management, medications, and more.

• An opportunity to connect with others just like you during the live sessions, and continue the conversation in a dedicated space on our online peer support community Diabetes Canada Connect.

This program provides general information about diabetes management. Any questions you may have about your individualized medical care should be addressed by a health care professional if you have access to one.
